2019, BRAAMFONTEIN, JOHANNESBURG
We were approached by Sly Media to turn an abandoned left-over courtyard in Braamfontein in to a versatile space for Puma Select events and a health snack bar and restaurant to serve the surrounding community over lunchtime. Our source of inspiration was the diverse climates and terrain that the puma cat habitats. These range from jungle to alpine terrain. We also took the analogy of the city of Gold and turned the bar into a brass nugget and gold seam that represent Johannesburg historical wealth.
